TASAWAR Meet-Up: 5 July 2019, 4.00 pm, Dar Lasram 2

MEET-UP / INFO

If you want to participate, please join the meet-up on 15 July 2019 from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm in Dar Lasram 2. It is open to all who are interested to extend their knowledge and skills on curating contemporary art and art-in-context projects, on art mediation and audience development. It is open to exhibition designers and sociocultural activists who wish to reflect on working with contemporary art. It will address working in sociocultural initiatives as much as working in art and cultural institutions.

TASAWAR Platform

This is the platform of the TASAWAR Curatorial Studios and it is under construction. What you see are the first building blocks to explain the program of the studios. You can find info on the concept and the content as well as on the framework and its units. At this point, all info is still subject to change.

September 2019 to October 2020

Is a one-year study program with 12 studios, 12 online courses, 12 co-working units. It encompasses interaction with curatorial professionals, studio visits with artists and fields of practice to work on concepts and their implementation, on texts and reviews, on communication and publication.

Geographically, we will work in concentric circles starting in Tunis and Tunisia in the Studios 1 to 4. We will extend the radar to North-Africa and the art scenes on the continent in the studios 5 to 8 before we will review what is going in Europe and beyond in the Studios 9 to 12.

CERTIFICATE

The study program leads to a certificate that will state the learning in- and outputs to support participants in their professional positioning in the contexts of their choice.
